I dont think I need much of an explanation here...

Job 23:12 – “I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.”

If we turn away from the Lord when hard times hit, where will we dind hope, peace, or truth? Gods word is an immovable anchor in times of storm and living bread for dying men and women.

Job 23:13 – “Whatever his soul desired, that he does.”

God is sovereign and “He does according to his will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain his hand or say to him, ” What have you done?” (Dan 4:35)

Psalm 96:9 – Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!

We are to worship the Lord for his beautiful holiness – his purity, His righteousness, his spotlessness – as we worship him beautifully through pure blameless and upright lives.

Romans 15:2 ” Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.”

If we are serious about our Christian faith we must take into consideration how our actions affect others. We cannot grow in faith in isolation from others, and in our interactions with others we should have edification in mind.

Romans 15:13 – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.

The normal Christian life is to be characterized by hope, joy and peace. As we grow in grace, God wants us to experience more and more of each of them and if they are lacking somethin has gone wrong.
