One-of-a-Kind Pagani Zonda HH Commissioned by Chicago Software Mogul

The car in question is the Zonda HH, a delicious amalgamation of the best elements from several recent variants. The man in question is one David Heinemeier Hansson – hence the initials, initially thought to belong to Hugh Hefner – the man behind the Ruby on Rails web-dev platform and the 37signals software firm. 30-year-old Heinemeier Hansson lives in Chicago, but since the Zonda isn’t certified for use in the United States, he reportedly bought a vacation home in Italy…just so he could drive the thing. Now that’s dedication. And wealth put to good use, we’d say.

Why settle for a Bugati when you can have this…

The Arash AF-10. The base model gets 500 horsepower and will cost you $457,560. The mid-range, which hasn’t been priced, will be tuned for 800 horses. The top dog shots up another four hundred notches to 1,200 hp, and gets slapped with a $2.03 Million. That’s the same horsepower as a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport with the price of a Veyron Grand Sport.

I need to go to Amalfi Coast

Declared one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites for its undisputed beauty and the uniqueness of its natural landscape, the Amalfi Coast is the land characterised by the oxymoronic combination between mountain and sea, the farmer and the fisherman. The mountain, that thanks to the intense work of man, has been adapted to the demands of life over the ages. It plunges steeply into a sea, creating charming coves, deep fjords, cliffs, caverns, bays, natural arches and small pebble beaches; natural elements that have created, over the centuries, an enchanting, sinuous and seductive landscape: it is certainly not a coincidence that this area is known as the land of the Sirens, in the Homer’s epic poem “Odysseus”. Typical houses, painted in warm pastel colors, follow the natural slope of the foothills of Mounts Lattari, leaning against each other, creating a very picturesque landscape. From the characteristic terraces, built with dry stone walls, expands the intense scents of the lemon groves, the vineyards, the broom, the bright colors of bougainvillea which, combined with the smell of salt air, creates a unique sensory experience.

The Paris Auto Show is where the next Bentley Continental GT will be revealed, but that will concern the coupe only. The convertible GTC will continue a while longer while the new body style is prepared for its own fashion show next year. To keep North American buyers enticed, Bentley’s dressed up the GTC and GTC Speed in Midnight paint and various accoutrement and called it the 80-11 Edition.

Shown off at Pebble Beach, in addition to their unique hue they both get shiny Union Jack badges on their front fenders, Dark Metallic soft tops and heavy-as-billet Mulliner gas tank caps. When it comes to telling the apart, the GTC gets 20-inch, 14-spoke wheels with black centers while the GTC Speed gets the lighter-weight Continental Supersports wheel in a dark tint, under which reside red brake calipers. Inside, they both get turned aluminum dashes and Beluga leather but the GTC gets contrasting white stitching, the GTC Speed wears Pillar Box Red stitching.

The final thing they have in common: FlexFuel engines capable of running on E85. Meaning the only thing you’ll lose with these two is carbon emissions. They’ll be arriving in dealer showrooms later this year.
